Free Toolkit Available to Help Local Congregations Inform their Members About Low-Cost and Free Health Care Coverage for Children
Washington, DC - As health care coverage becomes an increasing concern for many working American families, the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation's Covering Kids & Families Back-to-School Campaign is calling on the faith community to help get millions of children the coverage they need. Free and downloadable materials are being offered to faith leaders nationwide to help them inform their members about the availability of low-cost and free health care coverage for uninsured children.
The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation is kicking off its annual Covering Kids & Families Back-to-School Campaign in Washington, D.C. in August, with events planned nationwide. The campaign encourages parents of America's 8.4 million uninsured children to find out if their children are eligible for Medicaid or the State Children's Health Insurance Program (SCHIP).
